The Benefits of Virtual Care

Accessibility and Flexibility

Virtual care allows increased accessibility of therapy and performance psychology services. Allowing clients to seek services from their homes, work, and meet at more convenient times of day in a number of states across the U.S. Such accessibility not only increases access to care but also allows you the opportunity to continue working with your provider if you relocate permanently or temporarily.

Privacy and Comfort

Virtual care allows you to conduct your sessions from a location you feel comfortable in, whether it be your home, office, or training facility. Virtual care can also increase your privacy as it limits your chances of being seen in person when attending appointments by someone you know. It can also allow you to attend treatment in a more discreet manner and save time as you do not need to physically travel to your appointment.

Research Supporting Virtual Care

Recent research has found that virtual care options are as effective as in person care for psychotherapy. In fact, research has found that due to the increased accessibility and flexibility of virtual care clients are more likely to stay engaged in treatment and attend their scheduled appointments, which may lead to improved treatment outcomes.
